STATEMENT OF BELIEFS 

We are an organization dedicated to the preservation of ancient healing modalities that have been practiced by indigenous cultures around the earth for millenia.  These ancestral civilizations have left evidence of these practices in their traditions, writings, and art in territories on every continent of this planet.  The healing practices of our ancestors intertwined deeply with their religious and spiritual beliefs.  We honor these sacred healing traditions, beginning here in this state of California, in the United States of America and spreading out to all conscious beings of this planet, for as long as Mother Earth continues to produce and protect living things.

We believe that humanity needs to heal in order to preserve nature and the future of our planet, which requires more sanctuaries to teach natural healing techniques, sustainable lifestyles, and methods of cultivating and preserving medicinal plants and fungi.  This practice ensures the health of people, animals, and the environment.  

We understand that health depends on both physical and spiritual wellness, so we protect the standard of health by ritual practice of plant and fungus medicines, sacraments, and other detoxing methodologies to help purify our vessels in order to commune with Source.   

After you join the church you may use the below request form and donation options.  

The Church operates with donations, we offer a sliding scale, those who can contribute on the higher end of the scale do to help those who cannot. We do offer a 20% lower minimum suggestion (of our in house cultivated sacrament) for those on disability, veterans, teachers and social workers.

We do have an alternative medicine menu if you would like to see it send a request.

• Winter Solstice (Yule)
• Imbolc (Candlemas)
• Spring Equinox (Ostara)
• Beltane (May Eve)

• Samhain (Hallowe'en)

Wiccan holidays, or Sabbats, are timed to the seasons and the Earth’s natural rhythms. Sabbats celebrate the Earth’s journey around the sun, called the Wheel of the Year, and Wiccans refer to commemorating the Sabbats as Turning the Wheel.

Most Wiccans celebrate these eight Sabbats annually:

• Yule, Winter Solstice: December 20, 21, 22, or 23
  
  Yule is the longest night and the shortest day of the year. Some Wiccans consider Yule to be either the year’s beginning or the end. This is the time to celebrate the return of the light. Yule is the solar turning of the tides, and the newborn Sun offers a fresh start and, literally, a new day. It’s a time of renewal and hope.
  
  
• Brigid, Imbolc, Candlemas, Imbolg, or Brigid’s Day: February 1 or 2
  
  Brigid, or Imbolc, is a preparation for spring. At Brigid, Wiccans clean and organize their living environments, as well as their minds and hearts, in preparation for the upcoming season of growth. It’s a time to shake off the doldrums of late winter and light the fires of creativity and inspiration.
  
  
• Eostar, Spring Equinox, Ostara, or Oestarra: March 20, 21, 22, or 23
  
  Winter is now over. Light is increasing. The day and night are equal in length at the equinox. Spring has arrived or is coming soon. Eostar is the time of fertility, birth, and renewal. The ice is thawing, and the growing season for plants and animals begins. Growth is the theme of the day.
  
  
• Beltane, May Eve, Beltaine, Bealtaine, or May Day: April 30 or May 1
  
  Beltane is the time of the marriage and union of the Goddess as Mother Earth and the God of the Greenwood. It is an ancient fertility festival marking the beginning of the planting cycle. The festival was to ensure a good growing season and a bountiful harvest. Beltane is light-hearted and joyful.
  
  
• Litha, Summer Solstice, or Midsummer: June 20, 21, 22, or 23
  
  Litha is the longest day and the shortest night of the year. Light triumphs, but will now begin to fade into darkness as autumn approaches. The crops are planted and growing. The woods and forests have reached their peak fullness. This is the time of abundance for wildlife, including people! The holiday is joyous.
  
  
• Lughnasad, Lughnasadh, or Lammas: August 1
  
  For the ancient Pagans, Lughnasad was a time of both hope and fear. They held hope for a bountiful harvest and abundant food, but they feared that the harvest wouldn’t be large enough and that the cold months would be filled with struggle and deprivation. At Lughnasad, modern Wiccans also face their fears, concentrate on developing their own abilities, and take steps to protect themselves and their homes.
  
  
• Mabon, Fall Equinox, or Harvest Home: September 20, 21, 22, or 23
  
  At Mabon, the day and the night are equal in length, in sublime balance. For many locations, Mabon coincides with the final harvest of grain, fruits, and vegetables. Mabon, also called Harvest Home, is the time of thanksgiving. The beauty and bounty of summer gives way to the desolation of winter, and the darkness overtakes the light.
  
  
• Samhain, All Hallow’s Eve, Hallowmas: October 31 or November 1
  
  For many Wiccans, Samhain marks the New Year and is the most important Sabbat. It’s the time to remember the ancestors, and the time to celebrate the harvest and all that has been accomplished over the year

ARTICLE II. RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES 

SECTION I. California Constitution: ARTICLE I DECLARATION OF RIGHTS:

1. Section 1. 

All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.

1. Section 2. 

Every person may freely speak, write and publish his or her sentiments on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of this right. A law may not restrain or abridge liberty of speech or press.

1. Section 4. 

Free exercise and enjoyment of religion without discrimination or preference are guaranteed. This liberty of conscience does not excuse acts that are licentious or inconsistent with the peace or safety of the State. The Legislature shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.

A person is not incompetent to be a witness or juror because of his or her opinions on religious beliefs.

1. Section 12. Freedom of speech and of the press; right peaceably to assemble, and to petition. 

1. Section 16. Free exercise of religion; no establishment of religion.

That religion or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and, therefore, all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other. No man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief; but all men shall be free to profess and by argument to maintain their opinions in matters of religion, and the same shall in nowise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities. And the General Assembly shall not prescribe any religious test whatever, or confer any peculiar privileges or advantages on any sect or denomination, or pass any law requiring or authorizing any religious society, or the people of any district within this Commonwealth, to levy on themselves or others, any tax for the erection or repair of any house of public worship, or for the support of any church or ministry; but it shall be left free to every person to select his religious instructor, and to make for his support such private contract as he shall please.

SECTION II. UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION: AMENDMENT I: 

1. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peacefully assemble; and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” 
2. Amendment IV (1791); “ The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probably cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly, describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized” 

SECTION III. INHERENT RIGHTS 

We believe that: 

Mother Earth and all beings of which she is composed have the following rights.

• The right to life and to exist;
• The right to be respected;
• The right to regenerate its bio-capacity and to continue its vital cycles and processes free from human disruptions;
• The right to maintain its identity and integrity as a distinct, self-regulating and interrelated being;
• The right to clean water as a source of life;
• The right to clean air;
• The right to integral health;
• The right to be free from contamination, pollution, and toxic or radioactive waste;
• The right to not have its genetic structure modified or disrupted in a manner that threatens its integrity or vital and healthy functioning;
